Bhoomi Trivedi is a playback singer who made her bollywood debut with the sensational song ‘Ram Chahe Leela Chahe’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's, Ram-Leela. Before that she is well known as the participant of the national singing competition show Indian Idol 3,4 and 5 editions. In the 5th edition she was selected as one of the three finalists. Bhumi started to learn music while she was in 8th grade. She participated regularly in school and college competitions that boosted her confidence and made her take up singing seriously. At the age of 21 she had auditioned twice for the show Indian Idol 3 & 4 and even got selected. But she had quit the 3rd edition due to jaundice and 4th as she had a personal crisis wherein her aunt, who was very close to her passed away because of breast cancer. Again she knocked the doors of 5th edition of Indian Idol with great confidence and selected as one of the three finalists. Today, she is one of the most popular singers in Bollywood.
